The shop featured pieces from Musgraves’ personal wardrobe - dropped in capsules across the next several weeks - including items worn in the “Dry Spell” music video, tours, special appearances and everyday life.
“Fashion is a way to self express,” says Musgraves. “These are some great pieces that remind me of different chapters in my life and represent different sides of me. I love the idea of passing them along through Depop so someone else can enjoy them and make them part of their own story, and I also adore the fact that the sales are supporting a really beautiful cause.”
Alongside the Shop Drop, Kacey sat down with Depop across a series of video interviews to reflect on her personal style and taste, while speaking to the pieces she’s selling and the memories they hold. Benefits were donated to The Young Center for Immigrant Children's Rights.
