Inside the game, players could access a Depop-branded Create-A-Skater pack featuring 15 styles and skateboards inspired by real Depop pieces, alongside street-level brand moments built directly into gameplay.
On the shopping side, Depop launched over 5,000 items inspired by pro-skater closets, plus three exclusive in-app shop drops with Andy Anderson, NECKFACE, and KennyHoopla, spanning personal skate memorabilia, one-of-one graffiti-designed womenswear, and rare vintage and archival pieces.
To celebrate the launch, THPS hosted an event bringing together the skate, gaming, influencer, and press communities, with a guest list of over 20 pro skaters including Tony Hawk, Bam Margera, and Lizzie Armanto.
At the event, Depop ran a Customisation Studio where LA artist NECKFACE airbrushed exclusive designs live onto a curated selection of skate and streetwear pieces sourced by local Depop seller Saahir, with exclusive Depop skateboards and in-game merch available for attendees to take home. The event generated an estimated 40M+ impressions, with organic and paid influencer coverage, a broadcast interview on Fox 11 Los Angeles, and a regional feature in The Daily Sundial.
